We exist for to walk with and worship God and to serve others. Yet, most days our time is spent for and on ourselves, for the benefit of ourselves.

King David had many flaws. One overarching theme resinated with him however: He was not the focus of life - God was. And when God gives someone influence or leadership (e.g. in the home or at work, in the neighborhood, etc.), that influence or leadership should be leveraged and used for THEIR benefit, not your benefit.
