The story of the empty tomb began 2000 years ago! This week leading up to Jesus’ death on the cross was a watershed week - a week packed with events that truly is hard to comprehend, with startling revelations about the future, proclamations, violence, emotions at a high pitched level.
In today's episode, Jesus begins his Monday by leaving Bethany and curses a fig tree. He then sees Jerusalem and weeps over the city followed by Jesus entering the temple, overturning the tables where goods were sold. What a day!
