We all have a defense strategy: “I’m not perfect… but I’m not that bad.” 🤷‍♂️ We compare. We measure. We quietly reassure ourselves that we’re doing okay.

Then Romans 3 removes every excuse. ⚖️ Paul delivers the verdict: none righteous, none who seek God, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Not just the immoral. Not just the hypocrite. All.

Romans 3 confronts what we resist admitting: our goodness isn’t good enough, the Law exposes sin but cannot save, and every mouth is silenced before God. But then two life-changing words break through — “But now…” ✝️ God reveals a righteousness apart from the Law, received through faith in Jesus Christ.

At the cross, justice was upheld, wrath was satisfied, mercy was released, and grace was poured out. This is the summit of the gospel: before we can stand justified, we must admit we stand guilty — and that’s where grace begins. ❤️
